Vice President – Financial Restructuring (French Speaking)

About the role

Houlihan Lokey is seeking a Vice President to lead execution of complex financial restructuring and distressed M&A transactions. The role focuses on both creditor‑ and debtor‑side engagements and requires fluency in French to serve French‑speaking stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of debtor‑ and creditor‑side restructurings and distressed merger‑and‑acquisition deals.
• Prepare, analyze and present historical and projected financial information.
• Coordinate business due diligence and drive M&A transaction processes.
• Draft confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other client‑facing materials.
• Value companies and businesses using appropriate valuation methodologies.
• Assist in marketing and planning of engagements and maintain direct client relationships.

Required profile

• University degree (relevant field).
• Experience in restructuring or leveraged finance.
• Proven deal execution experience in financial restructuring, leveraged finance or M&A.
• Demonstrated ability to work on complex, high‑stakes transactions.
