Warehouse Operative & FLT Driver – Counterbalance

About the role

This position is based in Stretford and involves managing the flow of goods throughout the warehouse, from receipt to storage and dispatch. You will operate forklift equipment safely, support production needs and ensure accurate stock handling while adhering to health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from lorries and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operate counterbalance and, where possible, reach forklifts in line with safety procedures.
• Pick pallets, pack, label and prepare orders for internal use, customer collection and dispatch.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing goods against delivery notes and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system and manage stock movements.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with safety regulations.
• Support shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.

Required profile

• Valid external FLT Counterbalance licence (essential).
• Reach forklift licence is desirable.
• Ability to work full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑5:00 pm.
• Immediate start availability.
