Web Analyst

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring Web Analyst to join a growing analytics function in Manchester. You will work with Google Analytics 4, SQL, BigQuery and conversion rate optimisation initiatives to improve digital performance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse website performance and user behaviour using GA4.
• Support A/B testing and experimentation programmes through data analysis and insight generation.
• Evaluate test outcomes and provide recommendations to improve website performance.
• Identify optimisation opportunities across digital customer journeys.
• Query and manipulate data using SQL and BigQuery.
• Produce reports, dashboards and actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with digital, marketing and product teams to support business objectives.
• Utilise modern analytics and AI tools to enhance analysis and productivity.

Required profile

• Strong working knowledge of GA4.
• Commercial experience within web analytics or a broader analytics role.
• Good SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience translating data into actionable recommendations.
