Weekend Concierge – Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)

About the role

This is a weekend concierge position supporting a young people’s supported accommodation service in Leicester. You will be the first point of contact during out‑of‑hours periods, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of five residents across Saturday and Sunday.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the accommodation service from 08:30 to 21:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Provide immediate assistance to residents, responding to incidents, safeguarding concerns and anti‑social behaviour.
• Follow established policies, procedures and safeguarding protocols.
• Escalate serious issues to on‑call cover or emergency services as required.
• Work alone on‑site, maintaining a secure environment throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Experience or qualification in out‑of‑hours support work, preferably within a housing or social‑care setting.
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication and persuasive skills for handling incidents.
• Commitment to the organisation’s values, culture and ethos.
