Wing Industrial Architect

About the role

The Wing Industrial Architect will co‑architect next‑generation aircraft wing products and pioneer future industrial systems. You will integrate stakeholder inputs to deliver optimized industrial concepts that balance aircraft performance and manufacturing efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support one or more new Wing programmes, focusing on industrial readiness for launch and ramp‑up.
• Perform value‑stream analysis and capacity modelling using Takt Time, Cycle Time, Lead Time and OEE.
• Deploy lean line design principles and conduct industrial performance assessments.
• Develop and mature industrial ramp‑up simulation tools and digital twins for the Digital Factory.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of metallic manufacturing processes, including traditional and additive methods.
• Experience working with suppliers or research partners and a solid understanding of lean manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and digital tooling such as VR, 3DExperience and digital twins.
