About the role
Are you a hard‑working and attentive individual looking to start or continue your career as a Year 5 Teacher? Academics is seeking a supply teacher for several schools in Birmingham, beginning September 2026, with daily assignments that could develop into a longer‑term position.
Key responsibilities
- Provide and encourage a safe and inclusive environment for pupils.
- Plan and deliver quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Adapt teaching and lesson plans for children with SEND.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
- Monitor and assess pupils’ development.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS check (must be on the update service).
- Willingness to undertake relevant training as needed.
