1st Line IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join a leading UK Managed Services Provider. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling support requests via phone, email and a ticketing system, and ensuring smooth escalation to 2nd line teams.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and log IT support tickets through the internal system.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues remotely.
• Escalate complex incidents to 2nd line support while keeping customers informed.
• Maintain clear documentation of actions taken and resolutions.
• Provide excellent customer service to a range of high‑profile clients.

Required profile

• Recent experience or training in 1st line IT support or helpdesk environments.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to commute to Yateley/Camberley on a daily basis.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced team.
