About the role
A client of 24-7 Staffing in Chippenham is looking for a certified 7.5t driver with hands-on experience of C1 vehicles. The role reports to the Transport Manager and involves operating a C1 vehicle safely to make deliveries across the UK. It suits both experienced and newly qualified drivers, with early starts.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the safe transport of deliveries.
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
Required profile
- Direct experience driving a C1 vehicle.
- Knowledge of current EU driver's hours and regulations and the working time directive.
- Valid driver CPC card, valid tachograph card and a C1 driving licence.
- Commitment to safety and responsibility, willingness to perform various duties, flexibility with working hours, ability to follow instructions and physical fitness.
Working conditions
- Monday to Friday, starting between 5 am and 8 am.
- No work on weekends or bank holidays.
