7.5t Delivery Driver – Southampton to London

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, customer‑focused 7.5‑tonne delivery driver based at our Southampton depot. The role involves delivering pre‑loaded vans to London and surrounding areas, Monday‑Friday, 5 am‑3:45 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Drive safely on scheduled routes, keeping customers informed of ETAs and any delays.
• Maintain the vehicle – fuel, cleanliness, and perform pre‑ and post‑delivery checks in line with health & safety procedures.
• Report any vehicle issues to the Transport Department.
• Represent the company courteously, promoting its products and services during customer interactions.
• Participate in driver training to meet compliance and safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous van driving experience.
• Clean driving licence with a valid C1 licence, CPC and Digi‑Tachograph card.
• Physical fitness to unload the vehicle unassisted.
• Friendly, helpful, focused with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Van operation and safe driving techniques.
• Use of CPC and Digi‑Tachograph equipment.
