A-Level Classical Civilisation Teacher

About the role

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking an experienced teacher to deliver A‑Level Classical Civilisation at Strode’s College Sixth Form. This part‑time (0.31 FTE) permanent role starts on 19 August 2026 and offers the chance to bring the ancient world to life for motivated learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality A‑Level Classical Civilisation lessons.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and value‑added results.
• Maintain an inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking.
• Track progress data and contribute to outreach and community liaison activities.
• Collaborate with the Course Team to uphold departmental standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching A‑Level subjects, preferably Classical Civilisation or related humanities.
• Passion for ancient history and ability to inspire students.
• Strong organisational and assessment skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
