Accommodation Support Officer (Part‑time, Weymouth)

About the role

We are looking for an Accommodation Support Officer to join our team in Weymouth on a part‑time basis. You will work with adult male participants, either in custody or on licence, helping them secure suitable housing and understand their rights throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants and develop personalised accommodation plans.
• Conduct initial assessments, considering risk, situation and individual needs.
• Coordinate with probation practitioners and external stakeholders to arrange interventions.
• Provide participants with clear information about decisions affecting them and their rights.
• Maintain accurate records and produce regular reports.

• Ability to work confidently with a diverse range of people.
• Commitment to delivering person‑focused services and acting as a positive role model.
• Willingness to engage with participants in custody environments and the community.
