Account Executive – B2B Sales

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious Account Executive to join a fast‑growing technology business in Wilmslow. The role offers full exposure to the B2B sales lifecycle, from prospecting to closing, within a supportive and structured environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and develop new business opportunities across target markets.
• Build and nurture relationships with senior decision‑makers.
• Generate, qualify and manage a pipeline of prospective sales opportunities.
• Conduct consultative discovery meetings to understand client challenges and objectives.
• Present tailored solutions, prepare commercial proposals and negotiate contracts.
• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and sales activity records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment, business development, sales development, account management, telesales or commercial client services.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and a consultative sales approach.
• Resilient, self‑motivated and driven to achieve targets.
• Desire to build a long‑term career in professional B2B sales.
