Account Executive - EdTech SaaS

About the role

A fast-growing, venture-backed EdTech company is hiring Account Executives to sell its platform to UK schools and multi-academy trusts. The role covers the full sales cycle, from first contact to close, with a mix of smaller, fast-moving deals and larger enterprise sales with senior education leaders. It is based in Central London, hybrid (4 days in the office, Fridays from home), with a start date of 1 September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Source and close new business with UK schools and multi-academy trusts, owning the full sales cycle
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers, from classroom teachers to C-suite and central pedagogical leadership
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences and networking events across the UK
• Manage both shorter, transactional deals and longer, complex enterprise sales cycles
• Negotiate commercial terms and pricing with senior stakeholders

Required profile

• A clear track record of career progression
• Genuine ambition and a results-driven mindset
• High energy and persistence
• Problem-solving instincts; analytical or engineering backgrounds have worked well
• Confidence talking commercial terms and pricing with senior decision-makers
• Sociable, credible presence at events
• 2+ years in tech or SaaS sales is a strong plus; candidates from SDR roles are also welcome

What we offer

• Base salary of GBP 45,000-55,000 plus uncapped commission (OTE around GBP 85,000-95,000 in Year 1, rising to GBP 125,000-135,000 in Year 2)
