Account Handler – Commercial Insurance

About the role

Step into a role where you’ll work with some of the biggest and most complex insurance accounts in the market. Based in Manchester, you’ll manage a focused portfolio of large commercial and corporate clients, acting as a trusted partner and primary point of contact.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a defined portfolio of large and complex commercial insurance accounts.
• Handle client queries, renewals, amendments and mid‑term changes.
• Participate in client visits and build strong professional relationships.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to deliver outstanding service and identify growth opportunities.
• Provide technical support on complicated risks while ensuring compliance.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial or corporate insurance, preferably with larger accounts.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communication, negotiation and relationship management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Holding or willing to work towards a CII certification with full support.
