Account Handler – Property Insurance

About the role

Join Gallagher's fast‑paced Real Estate team in Chichester as an Account Handler. You will provide technical account servicing support to some of the UK’s largest property management companies, managing large portfolios and guiding the renewal process throughout the year.

Key responsibilities

• Support the servicing of property management portfolios and stand‑alone accounts, handling renewals, technical queries and mini‑projects.
• Create and manage documentation for new customers, mid‑term adjustments and renewals, ensuring data integrity.
• Assist with the renewal process, monitoring key dates and ensuring coverage is bound on time.
• Liaise with clients and insurers to confirm cover, process policies and follow up on outstanding documentation.
• Handle technical queries related to residential, commercial, terrorism, engineering and construction property risks.
• Apply legal and regulatory policies in line with internal procedures and insurance contracts.
• Address account queries and credit‑control matters, escalating issues when necessary.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build rapport and deliver strong customer‑service focused support.
• Experience in property insurance or related technical account servicing is desirable.
