Account Lead – Cleaning, Waste & Vertical Services

About the role

We are seeking a people‑focused Account Lead to manage a prestigious estate in central London, adjacent to Paddington Station. This site‑based, full‑time position runs Monday to Friday (08:00‑17:00) with occasional evening cover, overseeing a £2M contract for cleaning, waste and vertical services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily delivery of office cleaning, window cleaning, waste management and external cleaning services.
• Manage budgets, P&L and financial reporting with a strong commercial focus.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met across all operations.
• Inspire and support a team of around 30 staff, fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Collaborate closely with the client, participating in staff activities and social events.
• Line‑manage an Operations Manager to achieve and exceed KPIs and service levels.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing cleaning operations for contracts of £1M+.
• Strong track record in budgeting, financial reporting and health & safety compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative client and team relationships.
• Confident leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
