Account Manager – Charity Insurance Solutions

About the role

Join Gallagher’s Charities team in Birmingham as an Account Manager, providing tailored insurance solutions to small and medium‑sized charities. This hybrid, full‑time position offers flexibility while working with a collaborative and supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of charity clients, building strong relationships and understanding their unique insurance needs.
• Prepare and manage documentation for new business, mid‑term adjustments and renewals, ensuring accuracy.
• Explore renewal terms, negotiate with insurers and deliver optimal solutions.
• Attend virtual client meetings, handle account queries and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory policies.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial insurance, preferably within the charity sector.
• Confidence in managing client relationships and delivering excellent service.
• Ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to achieving Cert CII and working towards Dip CII.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Acturis.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
