Account Manager – Hybrid (Portsmouth)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic team in Portsmouth. Working on a hybrid schedule, you will act as the primary contact for assigned client accounts, delivering exceptional service and driving business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high‑quality client management.
• Handle customer enquiries via email and phone, guiding them from initial contact to solution delivery.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with business customers, identifying opportunities to expand key accounts.
• Resolve complaints promptly, aiming for positive outcomes.
• Liaise with third‑party providers and internal teams to meet client needs.
• Complete high‑volume administrative tasks related to account management.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an account management, coordination, or telephone‑based customer service role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Excellent multitasking, organisational and attention‑to‑detail skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
