Accountant – Cash Flow & Payables Specialist

About the role

This hands‑on accountant position supports a fast‑growing personal care brand. You will manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensure accurate cash flow monitoring, and provide essential financial support across finance and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash flow and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing funds.
• Prepare short‑ and long‑term cash flow forecasts to aid strategic decisions.
• Manage supplier payments, reconcile accounts payable and ensure timely settlements.
• Create customer invoices and purchase orders in line with agreed terms.
• Assist with stock control by entering product quantities accurately into the system.
• Maintain up‑to‑date financial records, including digital filing of invoices, statements, and purchase orders.
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, banks, and internal teams to chase payments or resolve queries.

Required profile

• Proven accounting experience in manufacturing, export, or FMCG environments.
• AAT qualification or working towards ACCA/CIMA.
• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple departments.
• Experience liaising with suppliers, customers, and banks.
