Accountant – Manage client portfolios and year‑end accounts

About the role

Sleek is seeking a proactive Accountant to own the accounting needs of a portfolio of growing business clients in the UK. You will work closely with bookkeepers, tax specialists and payroll teams to deliver a seamless, high‑quality experience that aligns with our customer‑centric ethos.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
• File corporation tax and VAT returns accurately and on time.
• Handle bookkeeping tasks and personal tax matters when required.
• Serve as the reliable, responsive point of contact that clients trust.

Required profile

• AAT qualification minimum.
• At least 2 + years post‑qualification experience in accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage statutory year‑end accounts.

Required skills

• Solid working knowledge of UK GAAP, corporation tax and VAT.
• Proficiency with Xero accounting software (or willingness to master it).
