Accountant – Part Qualified or Qualified

About the role

Tungsten West plc, a mining development company restarting the world‑class Hemerdon Tungsten‑Tin mine in South Devon, is seeking a Part‑Qualified or Qualified Accountant. The role will support management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial control during a critical project phase.

Key responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and board reports.
• Support budgets, forecasts, cash‑flow analysis and variance reporting.
• Post journals, record accruals and perform account reconciliations.
• Assist with audits, month‑end close procedures and maintain financial controls.

Required profile

• AAT Level 4 or equivalent part‑qualified/qualified accountant status.
• Strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (experience with BI tools is a plus).
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
