Accounts Assistant – Part‑time (Finance & Cash Management)

About the role

Are you an experienced finance professional with a background in cashiering, banking operations, treasury administration or finance operations? We are recruiting for a Cashiering & Controls Officer to join a well‑established organisation in Fleet. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with financial controls, cash management and reconciliations in a fast‑paced and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Processing and allocating daily cash receipts
• Managing bank transactions and maintaining accurate cash records
• Performing daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
• Investigating and resolving cash allocation discrepancies
• Producing cash and banking reports
• Maintaining robust financial controls and compliance procedures
• Supporting the finance team with month‑end activities
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls

Required profile

• Previous experience in Cashiering, Treasury, Accounts Receivable or Finance Operations
• Knowledge of cash allocation and bank reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Good Excel and finance systems experience
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
