Client Accountant – Practice – £45k‑£55k

About the role

We are partnering with an established accountancy practice to hire a Client Accountant to join their finance team. The role involves preparing statutory year‑end accounts and full management accounts for a portfolio of limited companies, providing accurate financial reporting and client support.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory year‑end accounts for limited companies.
• Produce full sets of management accounts for various clients.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with clients to deliver accounting advice and support.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a practice accounting role, handling statutory and management accounts for limited companies.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain high accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage and Xero.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
