Accounts Officer

About the role

The Accounts Officer will support ACE Money Transfer by handling counterparty reconciliations, inter‑company and inter‑system reconciliations, and pricing tracking. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, resolve discrepancies, and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed reconciliations of counterparty accounts and investigate any mismatches.
• Conduct inter‑company and inter‑system reconciliations to guarantee consistency across platforms.
• Track and analyse pricing changes from service providers and reflect adjustments in the financial records.
• Gather, validate, and provide financial data for internal reporting requirements.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, including classification of transactions and post‑revaluation entries for currency adjustments.
• Process financial adjustments and corrections to ensure correct ledger balances.
• Communicate with external service providers, financial institutions, and counterparties to resolve discrepancies.
• Escalate unresolved issues internally and work closely with senior finance team members.
• Support the implementation of financial controls to improve reconciliation accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts, reconciliation, bookkeeping or a similar finance role.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Good communication skills for internal and external coordination.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis and reporting.
