Accounts Payable Analyst

About the role

Join a well‑established multi‑site organisation as an Accounts Payable Analyst within a fast‑paced finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will own a high‑volume purchase ledger, ensure accurate invoice processing and support financial controls across several business locations.

Key responsibilities

• Process a large volume of supplier invoices and credit notes.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries.
• Support weekly payment runs and cash‑flow management.
• Maintain records for capital expenditure and fixed assets.
• Produce analysis on expenditure trends and costs.
• Assist with month‑end close, accruals and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen controls.
• Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Required profile

• Proven accounts payable experience in a high‑volume environment.
• Strong reconciliation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proactive communication style.
• Experience in a multi‑site business is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel knowledge, including Pivot Tables and lookup functions.
