About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join our busy UK finance team on a 3‑6 month temporary contract. The role is hybrid, with three days in the Crewe office and two days remote, supporting a global technology business serving advanced manufacturing and scientific sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Process high‑volume invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
- Post ledger and journal entries.
- Reconcile supplier accounts.
- Support the wider finance team as needed.
- Utilise finance systems and Excel to maintain data and generate reports.
Required profile
- Proven experience in accounts payable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload and work effectively within a team.
- Immediately available or soon available for a temporary role.
Required skills
- Finance systems (e.g., ERP) usage.
- Microsoft Excel.
