Accounts Payable Specialist – Temporary (Immediate Start)

About the role
The company is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its finance team on a temporary, full‑time basis in Manchester. The role will be hybrid once training is completed, offering a blend of office and remote work.
Key responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices, credit notes and payments accurately and on time.
- Manage and resolve supplier queries with professionalism and speed.
- Complete supplier statement reconciliations.
- Process employee expense claims.
- Maintain and update supplier master data.
- Support supplier onboarding and ensure compliance with preferred supplier processes.
Required profile
- Helpful, enthusiastic, committed team player who can learn quickly.
- Computer literate with experience using Excel and Word.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, able to work effectively under pressure.
- High accuracy and attention to detail, willing to meet deadlines, especially around period ends.
