Accounts & Tax Senior – Semi Senior Accountant

About the role

We are partnering with a leading accountancy practice in Ashford to hire a semi‑senior Accounts & Tax professional. You will manage your own client portfolio, delivering a mix of accounting and tax services while working closely with partners to deepen your advisory experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual accounts for a diverse client base.
• Compile and submit company CT600 corporation tax returns.
• Handle partnership tax returns and individual self‑assessment filings.
• Prepare and review VAT returns.
• Oversee bookkeeping work and ensure accuracy.
• Attend client meetings alongside partners to discuss financial matters.
• Supervise and support junior team members.

Required profile

• ACCA/ACA qualification – either part‑qualified or qualified by experience.
• Strong experience working in an accountancy practice.
• Portfolio management or client‑facing experience is advantageous.
