About the role
You will design and manufacture metallic parts using additive manufacturing technologies in Filton, contributing to structural components and systems equipment for current and future Airbus aircraft programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Design and manufacture metallic parts using additive manufacturing technologies such as Powder Bed Fusion and Direct Energy Deposition.
- Develop optimisation‑driven designs and create detailed drawings and build files for AM production.
- Operate AM machines, manage printing, post‑processing and conduct testing of produced components.
- Collaborate with the AM department on projects across aircraft structural components and systems equipment.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Strong interest in innovative technologies, particularly additive manufacturing and its application to aircraft.
- Ability to work effectively in a technical team and communicate ideas clearly.
- Motivation to develop technical skills and solve complex problems.

What we offer
- Salary of £24,246 per year.
- 35‑hour work week with flexible and hybrid working options.
