Administrator – FMCG Logistics (Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous administrator to support logistical operations within the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Based in Maidstone, this temporary position focuses on planning and coordinating harvest activities, ensuring accurate data flow across supply chain systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage grower sub‑international missions, stock data and short‑term supply forecasts, maintaining accuracy across planning systems.
• Allocate supply to demand using planning tools and ERP systems, identify risks or gaps and coordinate adjustments with Planning, Logistics and Grower Operations.
• Act as the central communication hub between growers, commercial teams, master planning, logistics and intake.
• Create, update and manage grower purchase orders, harvest orders and ASN‑related activities.
• Support intake and site teams with arrivals, open‑stock visibility and operational queries.
• Ensure system inputs are accurate and contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes.

Required profile

• Strong planning and organisational abilities with a focus on accuracy and speed.
• Clear and confident communication when liaising with growers and cross‑functional teams.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data, investigate variances and resolve issues.
• Proactive, resilient attitude and willingness to take ownership in a dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work early starts, weekend shifts and adjusted weekly schedules.
• Understanding of operational supply‑chain processes, including orders, arrivals and ASNs.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (ideally Prophet).
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
