Advanced Engineer, Investment Technology

About the role

Invesco is seeking an Advanced Engineer to join its Investment Technology squad. The role focuses on designing, building, testing and supporting modern web‑based tools and services that enhance investment capabilities across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy and maintain applications using Streamlit or ReactJS within a cloud environment.
• Apply AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and incorporate AI/ML or GenAI techniques where they add value.
• Participate in cloud migration activities and ensure solutions meet enterprise architecture, security and investment strategy standards.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code quality, observability and data‑quality controls.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Architecture and Distribution teams to align designs with broader technology standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with at least one programming language, preferably Python.
• Familiarity with modern web/UI frameworks such as Streamlit or ReactJS.
• Experience working with relational or cloud data platforms like Snowflake or PostgreSQL.
• Ability to work independently while escalating complex issues to senior staff.
