Advisory Tax Manager – Bristol

About the role

We are seeking an Advisory Tax Manager to join our fast‑growing accountancy firm in Bristol. You will work closely with the firm’s Tax Directors, providing high‑level tax planning advice to a diverse portfolio of corporate and private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tax planning advice across inheritance tax, capital gains tax, share‑scheme arrangements and other specialist areas.
• Support the Tax Directors in developing and executing advisory strategies for OMBs, SMEs and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Maintain a high‑quality compliance service while identifying opportunities for proactive tax optimisation.
• Build and nurture client relationships, adding commercial value through tailored tax solutions.
• Contribute to the firm’s growth plans by influencing service development and client acquisition.

Required profile

• CTA qualified with up to two years (or more) post‑qualification experience.
• Background in personal tax, corporate tax, or a mixed tax role within an accountancy practice.
• Demonstrable advisory tax expertise and a client‑service mindset.
• Strong commercial awareness and ambition to progress within a growing firm.
