Aero Software Developer

About the role

Join the Audi Revolut F1® Team at the Audi Motorsport Technology Centre in Bicester, UK, as an Aero Software Developer. You will work alongside engineers and data scientists to create high‑performance software that supports aerodynamic analysis and CFD data processing for Formula 1.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement desktop and web applications that visualise CFD and other engineering data.
• Redesign and optimise backend services used to process and serve CFD data.
• Develop efficient workflows for CFD post‑processing and data access APIs.
• Collaborate closely with aerodynamic engineers to improve data interpretation and visualisation.
• Define future directions for data analysis, visualisation and user‑interface design.
• Maintain, test, release and support data‑analysis applications.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience with data organisation, repository creation and complex project delivery.
• Strong programming skills and familiarity with Linux environments.
