Agent Deployment Engineer – German Speaking

About the role

Decagon is building a specialized Agent Deployment Engineering organization to deliver end‑to‑end AI agent builds for strategic customers. As an Agent Deployment Engineer you will own the technical delivery of enterprise‑grade agents, working closely with senior technical stakeholders and internal product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and deploy AI agent architectures from scoping through production, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Engineer core agentic logic, guardrails and supervisory controls to guarantee safe and compliant behavior.
• Build and test integrations with customer systems such as CRMs, ticketing platforms and data pipelines.
• Diagnose and resolve probabilistic and technical failures through root‑cause analysis of logs and model outputs.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design and GTM teams to create feedback loops that shape the platform.

Required profile

• 5+ years in a technical, customer‑facing role (e.g., solutions engineering, implementation engineering).
• Native or business‑level fluency in English and German.
• Proven ability to deliver production‑grade solutions in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.

Required skills

• Hands‑on coding and API development.
• Experience building and validating enterprise SaaS integrations.
• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and AI agent workflows.
