Agile Delivery Manager

About the role

Alfred H Knight is seeking an Agile Delivery Manager to join the team in Prescot, playing a pivotal role in the company’s digital transformation, modernization and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Enjoy a hybrid work model with three days on‑site at the Prescot head office and two days remote.
• Facilitate Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Retrospectives) and coach teams on Agile best practices.
• Plan, coordinate and lead software releases for in‑house applications across the full lifecycle.
• Act as the key link between development teams, QA, IT Support and business partners to remove blockers and drive delivery.
• Research and implement new configuration and delivery methodologies to automate and enhance deployment speed and quality.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and agile/hybrid delivery models (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps or GitLab.
• Knowledge of release and change management processes, including ITIL integration and governance requirements.
• Basic understanding of software architecture concepts, APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and microservices.
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation and coaching skills.
• Proven experience in an Agile Delivery role (Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, Product Owner) and managing stakeholder expectations.
