AI Automation & Full-Stack Product Engineer

About the role

CerealBox, a UK-based creative and performance agency working exclusively with charities, is hiring its first in-house AI Automation & Full-Stack Product Engineer. You will take ownership of True ROAS, the agency's analytics platform used by media buyers, creatives and leadership, and turn it into a foundation for AI-driven automation across the business. The role is hands-on: you decide what to build, prototype quickly and turn experiments into reliable production tools.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve True ROAS, including attribution, ROAS reporting, creatives, commercial and settlement reporting, data syncs, API integrations, currency conversion and system monitoring.
• Explore and build AI solutions such as AI copywriting, creative generation, script writing, UGC and video editing, media buying assistance, landing page generation, automated reporting, an internal AI assistant, client communication and workflow automation.
• Identify repetitive work, research AI tools, APIs and models, prototype solutions and decide whether to build, integrate or buy.
• Build and maintain React and TypeScript applications, with backend architecture, APIs and databases.
• Work with PostgreSQL and Supabase, build third-party integrations and maintain scheduled jobs and data pipelines.
• Work closely with users, design simple interfaces, measure adoption and improve products based on feedback.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack experience with React and TypeScript, and experience owning production systems.
• Ability to design clean interfaces and work independently, making technical decisions.
• Curiosity about AI, automation, agents and LLM APIs, and clear communication with non-technical colleagues.
• Experience with Supabase, Meta Marketing API, performance marketing, ad-tech, marketing analytics, LLM APIs, AI agents or fundraising technology is an advantage.
