AI Engineer – Agentic AI & Automation

About the role

Our client is embarking on an exciting technology transformation, building a new in‑house platform for a substantial property portfolio with AI and automation at its core. This early‑stage role offers the chance to shape how AI is designed, developed and embedded across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Build LLM‑powered applications and automation that integrate with CRM, PMS, databases and internal APIs.
• Develop retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), vector search, embeddings and knowledge‑based AI solutions.
• Evaluate new LLMs, AI frameworks and emerging technologies, taking concepts from idea to production.
• Collaborate with software engineers and data specialists to shape AI architecture and automate operational processes.

Required profile

• Proven commercial experience building AI solutions, not just experimenting with chat models.
• Strong practical understanding of modern Agentic AI and ability to turn AI capabilities into robust software.
• Comfortable working autonomously, challenging existing approaches and influencing technical decisions.

Required skills

• Python, C#, TypeScript
• LLM application development (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini)
• Agentic AI / AI agents, tool/function calling, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen
• RAG, retrieval‑based AI, vector databases, embeddings
• API and system integration, SQL databases, Azure cloud platform
