Air Export & Pricing Executive – Manchester Airport

About the role

An established international freight forwarding and logistics business is seeking an experienced Air Export & Pricing Executive to join its growing team at Manchester Airport. You will manage air export shipments from start to finish while providing customers with competitive pricing and exceptional service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end international air export shipments.
• Arrange airline bookings and monitor shipments through to final delivery.
• Prepare and issue all required export and customs documentation.
• Produce accurate and competitive freight quotations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, overseas agents, airlines and suppliers.
• Ensure shipments comply with customs, aviation security and industry regulations.
• Proactively resolve operational issues while keeping customers informed.
• Collaborate with operations and commercial teams to deliver outstanding customer experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience in air freight forwarding.
• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end air export operations.
• Good understanding of international air freight procedures and documentation.
• Commercial awareness with experience preparing quotations and negotiating rates.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational ability to prioritise multiple shipments.
• Proactive, positive attitude and effective team player.

Required skills

• CargoWise (experience advantageous but not essential)
