Airworthiness & Certification Placement – 12.5 months

About the role

This 12.5‑month placement in the Airworthiness and Certification domain offers engineering undergraduates a unique opportunity to work on wing structure, landing gear and fuel system activities for Airbus in the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Review and amend documentation covering aircraft modifications, assessing regulatory and airworthiness impacts.
• Analyse in‑service occurrence data, compile safety impacts and propose solutions.
• Lead discussions with technical experts to gather information and agree appropriate actions.
• Report project status to airworthiness authorities and other stakeholders.
• Participate in improvement projects within the Airworthiness network.

Required profile

• Undergraduate studying an engineering degree, with graduation date after the placement.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and solid IT proficiency.
• Creative mindset, keen interest in aviation and ability to work autonomously in a multinational team.
