Anti-Social Behaviour Support Officer – Community Safety

About the role

Join a dedicated team in Manchester focused on reducing anti-social behaviour and improving community safety. You will work directly with the public, partners and law‑enforcement to deliver proactive interventions and support victims.

Key responsibilities

• Be a visible presence in the community, raising awareness of services and supporting those affected by ASB.
• Apply a harm‑centred approach to casework, identifying victims and perpetrators, assessing vulnerability and making referrals.
• Collaborate with police to deliver on‑street safety interventions.
• Issue Community Protection Warnings/Notices and engage perpetrators to encourage compliance.
• Accurately record all interventions and promote team work through internal and external communications.
• Drive the partnership community safety van to various locations as required.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills for engaging with professionals, victims, witnesses and perpetrators.
• Experience applying ASB legislation and contributing to local action plans.
• Proficiency with ICT applications for accurate record‑keeping.
• Confidence delivering both informal and formal interventions.
• Flexibility to work shifts between 8 am and 8 pm, Monday‑Friday.
• Full, clean driving licence.
