Applications Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Applications Engineer to act as the technical bridge between customers, consultants and our sales team on major data centre projects across the UK and Europe. The role combines a strong mechanical engineering background with electrical knowledge to deliver feasible solutions for high‑density cooling, central plant and electrical distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical liaison between customers, consultants and sales teams.
• Design and support mechanical systems such as cooling, heat exchangers and high‑density data‑centre environments.
• Apply electrical engineering knowledge to central electrical distribution solutions.
• Provide customer‑facing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Cover the EMEA region, including occasional international travel.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical engineering background.
• Some electrical engineering knowledge.
• Confidence in dealing with customers and consultants.
• Understanding of data‑centre environments and high‑density cooling.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
• Live within a commutable distance of London.
