Apprentice Panel Technician

About the role

Join FMG Repair Services as an Apprentice Panel Technician and earn while you learn. You will work in a modern garage workshop in Dumfries, gaining hands‑on experience repairing accident‑damaged vehicles and progressing towards an SCQF Level 6 qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage to determine repair or replacement needs.
• Remove damaged panels and strip, refit, or replace trim and interior components.
• Carry out chassis alignment techniques, panel repair, welding and preparation for painting.
• Work alongside a dedicated mentor within a wider vehicle repair team.
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout all repair processes.
