Approved Electrician – 6‑Month Contract (Scotland & Midlands)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Approved Electricians for a 6‑month contract to carry out testing and inspection on commercial and industrial projects across Scotland, the Midlands and the South‑East. The role offers an immediate start and the chance to work on high‑profile sites while delivering professional, safe electrical services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) on commercial and industrial installations.
• Inspect and test electrical systems in line with BS 7671 standards.
• Identify defects, record observations and produce accurate test results and certifications.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Complete all work safely, professionally and to a high standard.

Required profile

• ECS Gold Card – Approved Electrician.
• Proven experience conducting EICRs on commercial/industrial sites.
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671.
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 (or equivalent) qualification preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Electrical testing and inspection.
