Approved Electrician – 6‑Month Contract (Scotland & UK)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Approved Electricians for a six‑month contract to carry out testing and inspection on commercial and industrial projects across Scotland and the wider UK. The role involves delivering Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and ensuring installations meet the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) for commercial and industrial sites.
• Inspect and test electrical installations in line with BS 7671.
• Identify defects, record observations and issue accurate certifications.
• Maintain safe, professional workmanship throughout each project.

Required profile

• ECS Gold Card – Approved Electrician.
• Proven experience conducting EICRs on commercial/industrial installations.
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671 regulations.
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 (or equivalent) preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR).
