Approved Electrician – Manchester

About the role

We are recruiting an Approved Electrician for a well‑established infrastructure services business operating across the UK. Based in Manchester, you will work on commercial and industrial sites, delivering electrical installations, inspections and testing while enjoying a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, inspection and testing on a varied portfolio of commercial and industrial sites.
• Perform reactive and remedial duties, responding to client requests promptly.
• Prepare and complete test certifications, RAMS documentation and other required paperwork to the required standard.
• Liaise directly with clients on‑site, discussing progress and identifying further service opportunities.
• Represent the business professionally at all times, adhering to health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Valid, clean UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Confident self‑starter who works well independently and communicates clearly with clients and colleagues.
• Motivated to grow with a company that invests in development and innovation.

Required skills

• C&G 2330 (or equivalent) certification.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Certification.
• C&G 2391 (Inspection & Testing) certification.
• JIB Gold Card or ECS Gold Card.
• Experience with RAMS documentation.
• CompEx Ex07 & Ex08 (or willingness to obtain certification).

What we offer

• Salary £55,000 – £60,000 per annum (including realistic overtime).
