Arabic Tutor (GCSE and A Levels)

About the role

Eximus Education, a UK social enterprise that delivers personalised, affordable online tutoring, is looking for an Arabic Tutor for GCSE and A Level learners. This is a full-time remote position in which the tutor delivers high-quality online lessons to secondary school students preparing for Arabic exams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and structure engaging lessons, adapting teaching methods to each learner's needs
• Prepare lesson materials aligned with UK exam board specifications, set homework and practice tasks, and mark work
• Support learners with grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening and speaking
• Track student performance, update progress records and give regular feedback on progress and exam readiness
• Communicate professionally with learners and families and work with the Eximus Education team to ensure consistent tutoring

Required profile

• Strong subject expertise in Arabic language and literature at GCSE and A Level, including grammar, vocabulary and exam techniques
• Proven teaching or tutoring experience with UK curriculum students, ideally with improved exam results
• Bachelor's degree in Arabic, Languages, Education or a related field; PGCE or QTS is an advantage
• High spoken and written proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic and English
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote working setup

• Ability to design structured lesson plans, assessments and practice materials
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills in a virtual environment
• Comfort using online teaching platforms, digital resources and basic educational technology tools
