Architect – Lead on Large-Scale Commercial Projects

About the role

This permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to join a leading RIBA‑chartered practice in the North East. The successful candidate will work on high‑profile commercial projects, collaborating closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead large‑scale commercial projects through all RIBA work stages.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary team members.
• Produce detailed drawing packages using Revit.
• Carry out site visits to ensure quality and compliance.
• Prepare architectural drawings, specifications and construction documentation.

Required profile

• ARB‑registered architect with a post‑RIBA Part 3 qualification.
• Proven experience working as an architect in a UK practice.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects across various sectors.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Revit (essential)
