Architect – Residential, Mixed‑Use & Heritage Projects

About the role

Our client in Dorchester is seeking a qualified Architect to join a dynamic practice that delivers residential, mixed‑use, education, leisure and commercial projects, including heritage and listed buildings. The role offers a clear progression path towards Senior and Associate levels while working on a diverse portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver innovative, functional and cost‑effective buildings across multiple sectors.
• Manage client relationships and project delivery, often independently from inception to completion.
• Prepare tenders, quotations and assist in business development activities.
• Produce detailed construction drawings and models using Revit and AutoCAD on a daily basis.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of post‑qualification experience in an architectural practice.
• Proven ability to work on residential, commercial and heritage projects.
• Strong design flair combined with solid technical competence.
• Self‑motivated and confident in client‑facing situations.
