Architectural Technologist - Industrial Projects

About the role

An established architectural practice working across industrial, logistics and commercial projects, with a strong pipeline of work across the UK, is adding an Architectural Technologist to its London team. The role suits someone with UK industrial experience and strong Revit skills, contributing to projects from early feasibility and space planning through to technical design and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Work across industrial, logistics and commercial projects, including warehouse and industrial developments, and commercial, drive-thru and roadside schemes.
• Contribute to projects from early feasibility through to technical delivery, supporting feasibility, viability and space planning exercises.
• Produce and develop technical drawing packages using Revit.
• Coordinate design information with consultants and wider project teams, and support projects through relevant RIBA stages.
• Work collaboratively with architects, clients and project teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist; UK industrial and/or logistics experience is essential.
• Experience on warehouse, industrial or commercial projects, and technical design and project delivery.
• Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction processes.
• Relevant architectural technology qualification or equivalent experience.
• Feasibility, viability and space planning experience, and experience on drive-thru or roadside commercial projects, would be beneficial.

Required skills

• Strong Revit proficiency is essential.
• Strong technical detailing and coordination skills.
• Good communication and organisational skills, able to work independently within a wider team.
