Architectural Technologist

About the role

A growing, collaborative architectural practice in Chichester, working across education, SEN, residential and public sectors, is looking for an Architectural Technologist with strong technical delivery experience and solid Revit capability. You will work closely with architects, consultants, contractors and suppliers, producing detailed technical packages and helping coordinate projects from design through to construction.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed construction drawings and technical packages using Revit
• Prepare and coordinate project specifications
• Work in a BIM-led environment, including consultant coordination
• Assist with clash detection and technical integration across projects
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and technical standards
• Answer construction and technical queries during live project stages
• Support delivery across several schemes at once and keep accurate technical records
• Help resolve technical and detailing challenges during delivery

Required profile

• Degree in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
• Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist
• Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• CIAT membership or working towards accreditation is advantageous

Required skills

• Revit (essential)
• AutoCAD (beneficial)
• BIM coordination experience desirable
• Technical detailing and drawing package experience
